The Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna (Formerly Lyceum Institute of Technology) was incorporated on January 18, 2000. With Dr. Sotero H. Laurel, Chairman of Lyceum of the Philippines University and concurrently Chairman of Lyceum of Batangas; Mr. Feliciano L. Torres, President of Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing, Inc.; Atty. Roberto P. Laurel, President of Lyceum of the Philippines University; Mrs. Sarah Laurel-Lopez, Vice President/Treasurer of the Lyceum of the Philippines University; Mr. Peter P. Laurel, President of Lyceum of Batangas as incorporators, plans for LPL began to unfold.

The Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna (LPU-Laguna) is committed to provide quality education to its students in accordance with our mission of providing a quality and industry-driven environment for instruction, research, and social responsibility to develop integral individuals, leaders, and life-long learners who are work-ready and globally competitive, imbued with God-centeredness and nationalistic spirit.

All our activities comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the government and accrediting agencies. All our teaching and learning processes, researches, innovations, community relations, and professional exposures will be marked with excellence. Our academic and support services through effective management and efficient governance are committed to provide total stakeholder’s satisfaction and learner’s value. LPU-Laguna further commits itself to the accomplishment of its strategic and quality objectives and the continual improvement of its processes and systems by establishing, implementing and maintaining a documented Quality Mangement System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

 

HISTORY OF COLLEGE OF MEDICINE (CAM)

 

In the year 2002, the Commission on Higher Education approved the establishment of Lyceum-St. Cabrini School of Health Sciences, Inc. (LSC). The college venture combines and builds on the strengths of the educational tradition of Lyceum of the Philippines-Laguna and the health care capabilities of St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center. Both institutions are committed to providing leading edge health care to patients by serving as an educational resource to the neighbors in surrounding communities and the country as a whole The first course offering of LSC is Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
